Lands’ End Inc. said net income for the eight weeks ended Christmas Eve was up 32.8 percent to $33.4 million, compared with $25.1 million a year earlier. However, net sales were down 14.6 percent, to $352 million from $412 million. The Dodgeville, Wis.-based retailer of casual wear said that, as planned, about 25 percent fewer catalog pages were mailed during the holiday period than last year.
