A contractor for the failed Dixmoor Park District was convicted Friday of theft.
Builder Gayle Occamy had won a brief reprieve from a hung jury last month. But a second jury convicted him after about an hour of deliberation.
Prosecutors said Occamy got nearly $158,000 from the agency but did only $20,000 worth of work.
