I enjoyed Eileen Mitchell’s article on capris (Commentary, May 22). The best figure does not look good in them. If a woman is out of shape, then it’s a disaster.
Now to another article of clothing that women wear–shoes. The shoes the last few years have been horrible. How can women wear those ugly platform shoes is beyond me–if they could see how clumsy and unbecoming their legs and feet look. Last but not least–long dresses in the summer that look so hot, especially the dark colors. I hope designers will make more feminine-looking clothes again.
