Alfred Grayer, 54, of the 8900 block of South Ada Street, Chicago, was charged Sunday with the theft of $306.94 in merchandise from the Menards store, 21630 Cicero Ave. Police said Grayer was seen putting tools, including a drill kit and a nailer, in a bag and carrying it out of the store without paying.
