Roland H. Stromquist, age 78, of Newaygo, MI, formerly of Morton Grove and Ingleside, IL, died Friday, January 5, 2001 at his residence in Newaygo. Survived by wife, Betty J. Stromquist, of Newaygo, MI; brother-in-laws, Eugene (Emily) Dore, of Battle Creek, MI and Harland (Cindy) Dore, of Portage, MI; mother-in-law, Ruth L. Boyne, of Kalamazoo, MI; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. from the McKinley Funeral Homes, Newaygo Chapel on Monday, January 8, 2001 with Rev. Sandra Spahr officiating. Interment in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Graveside services Tuesday at 2 p.m. Visitation 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
