Edward Charles Moore, born November 22, 1933, in Clinton, IA, formerly of Chicago, IL, died at home on Monday, January 8, 2001. His parents, James C. and Helen I. Moore, preceded him. Edward served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1955 and received Bachelor and Master degrees from the University of Chicago. He retired from the Illinois Cook County School System in 1994 after 26 years as a middle school teacher and moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1998. Edward was also an avid motorcyclist. He is survived by his wife Eileen; daughter, Anna (by a previous marriage), of Chicago; two brothers; two nieces, four nephews; and five grandnices and grandnephews. Services will be held Saturday, 1:30 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 300 Gold Ave. SE, Albuquerque, NM, with Randy Walquist officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM.
