LaVerne L. Duckrow, nee Leeney, age 78. Passed away Sunday, January 14th in Wilmington, born June 25, 1922 Chicago and a 30 year resident of Palos Park. Served as a Wave US Navy in WW II, retired age 70 after working as administrative assistant for a legal firm and steel fabricating company. Beloved wife of the late Albert L. Duckrow; dearest sister of the late Geraldine (William) Bottger and survived by Charles Patrick (Jeanne), Robert (Marilyn) Leeney, Joan Coffey and Carol Donegan; caring and matriarchal aunt of 32 nieces and nephews; 50 great and five great great nieces and nephews. LaVerne chose to donate her body to Science. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 152nd & Wolf Rd., Orland Park on Saturday, January 20, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 335 W.
