Justin J. Peterson, age 24, died suddenly Tuesday, January 16. With his dedication and love for his family, Justin was always willing to help out. He worked with the family-owned landscaping company and was constantly coming up with new innovative ideas to mainstream business. Justin was a passionate golfer, avid skier, accomplished pilot and enjoyed sports overall, he excelled at any feat set before him. His primary focus in life was to make others happy and though he battled over 10 years with depression, his strides in focusing on others made us forget how much pain he was in. We will miss his smile, his sense of humor and kindness towards all of us, but his pain and the pressures that he put on himself are relieved, and in the knowledge that he thought more of us than of himself, we are able to smile, think kindly of him and know that he is eternally happy and content. Justin is survived by his parents, Jeff and Roxanne Peterson; his brother, Ryan; his grandmothers, Frances Peterson and Jean La Vine; his aunts and uncles, Lillian (Laundy) Beach, Gail Dodson, Melvin (Marie) West, Glenna (David) Romaniszak, Jack (Sue), Terry (Phyllis), Scott (Diane) and Gregg (Mary) Peterson; and many loving and kind cousins. Visitation 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd. (3 blks S. of Roosevelt Rd.), Lombard. Services 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Master Works Foundation, attn: Rod Ogilvie, 7300 College Dr., Suite 203, Palos Heights, IL 60463 appreciated. 630-932-1500 .
