Dale H. Osborne, 90, of Marengo died Monday, Jan. 29, in Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry. He had been a licensed funeral director since 1949. Mr. Osborne was a volunteer for the Marengo Rescue Squad and Fire Department, answering phones for many years. Survivors include two daughters, Paula Bauman and Betty Wanless; a sister, Elsie Mueller; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. A service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday in Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Highway, Marengo.
