Paul S. Chiado, born March 2, 1930 in Albuquerque, NM, former resident of Wilmette, IL, died peacefully on Feb. 16, 2001 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Paul was the loving husband and friend of Sue; father of Julie (Tom Schrag), Lisa (Ethan) Salkind and Tom (Jaime) Chiado; grandfather of Tyler, Janelle, Benjamin, Samuel, Anna, Julia and Nicholas; brother of Angela Marie S.C., Thomas, Angela and the late John. Memories of Paul will be forever in our hearts. As an architect and structural engineer, Paul was involved in the design and construction of various projects throughout the country, especially Chicago and the Northwest. Paul retired in 1994 after many years with The Austin Company as District Manager and Vice-President. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, Feb. 22 at 12 noon at Sacred Heart Church, 9460 NE 14th, Bellevue, WA 98004.
