Harold K. Brown, 87, a 50-year resident of Wheaton, died in his home Saturday, March 10. Born in Paris, Texas, Mr. Brown was a retired maintenance mechanic for General Mills Co. He served in the Army during World War II, assigned to an anti-aircraft artillery group and discharged with the rank of sergeant. Mr. Brown was a member of American Legion Post 788. He attended Christ Church in Oak Brook. Survivors include his wife, Emma; three sons, Robert, Dave and Jim; two daughters, Mary Small and Marti Frenzel; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton.
