In the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, the State of Illinois was fortunate enough to have two teams representing us–the University of Illinois and Eastern Illinois University.
But you would hardly know it from the front of the Sports section on March 17. U. of I. got top billing, as it should. Notre Dame was second, and that is fine. But why bury Eastern Illinois in favor of Gonzaga?
