Thousands are missing and presumed dead under the rubble of the World Trade Center. There are, however, many others missing that we have not noticed: the flag burners, the American Civil Liberties Union, the atheists and the separation-of-church-and-states zealots. In times when healing, consolation and charity are needed, these groups are missing because they have nothing to give. Thank God for the prayers and acts of mercy.
