– A Page 1 caption Thursday was incorrect. Sailor Bernard Sampson Sr. was shown holding his son, Bernard Jr., 4. His wife, Dorla, was holding their daughter, Khadijah. Also, the caption should have identified the ship as the USS Theodore Roosevelt.
