Kanaris, age 76, beloved husband of Alexandra; loving father of Nick (Renee) Kanari and Maria (Anthony) Gloria; devoted grandfather of Serina, Eli, Joe, Tanya, Marina, Napoleon, Alexandra, and Delon; proud greatgrandfather of Martin Jr.; dear brother of John (Maxine) and seven brothers and sisters in Greece; dear uncle of many. Relatives and friends will meet for the funeral service Thursday, 11 a.m. at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1017 N. LaSalle St. There will be a visitation at the cathedral from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment Ridgewood Cemetery.
