Ruth Felber Fucik, a resident of Highland Park, died Nov. 23 while in Indianapolis, IN. Born in Wausau, WI, she attended the Julliard School of Music and graduated from the University of Wisconsin. After the death of her first husband, Walter Felber, she worked for the Girl Scouts. She married Frank Fucik in 1954. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 47 years and many other relatives. Ruth was an active member of many organizations including the Glencoe Auxiliary Chapter of the Infant Welfare Association, PEO, Women’s Library Club of Glencoe, Glencoe Union Church and was president of the Ravinia Garden Club. She was an ardent curler at Exmoor Country Club and won many awards in that sport. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Glencoe Auxiliary Chapter of Infant Welfare Association, 519 Washington St., Glencoe, IL 60022 or to the Glencoe Union Church, 263 Park Avenue, Glencoe, IL 60022. A Memorial Service will be held at the Glencoe Union Church on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 4 p.m.
