Two men were shot Tuesday night as they sat in a car in a parking lot at Waldo Junior High School, 56 S. Jackson St., police said. One of the men, who appeared to be in his late teens or early 20s, was shot in the face. His condition was not available. Police, however, described his injuries as life threatening. The other victim, a 17-year-old Aurora man, was treated for two gunshot wounds in an arm and another in a leg at Rush-Copley Medical Center and released. The incident was being investigated by the gang unit.
