Joseph Catanzaro, 75, died in Port Richey, FL, Friday, January 18. Born in Chicago, IL, he moved from Roselle, IL to Florida in 1989. He was a retired customized upholsterer. A member of the American Legion, he served on a destroyer, the U.S.S. Colohan, in the Navy during WW II. Devoted husband of almost 54 years to Louise, nee Stubbs; loving father of Diane (Rich) Gruner, Darlene (Bill) McGurn and Leo (Sarah) Catanzaro; cherished grandpa to Krista, nee Hassenplug (John) McNamara, Lauren, Bridgette and Jessica McGurn, and Brian Catanzaro; dear brother of Felicia and Tony (Mary) Catanzaro. Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Vita and Loneto Catanzaro. A great “Buddy” and friend to many, golfing whenever possible. Private service and interment in Port Richey, Florida.
