– A story in Monday’s Metro section about the Illinois State Scholastic Chess Championship incorrectly described one winner’s school affiliation. Trevor Magness, who won the primary division title, is home-schooled and lives in Bolingbrook.
– A story on Page 1 of Sunday’s Education Today section incorrectly reported the number of NCAA Division III-affiliated schools in the Chicago area. There are nine such schools–Concordia College in River Forest also is a Division III institution.
– A story in Sunday’s main news section about the Indian Point nuclear power plant in New York incorrectly identified Ralph Beedle as an official of the Nuclear Control Institute. He is senior vice president and chief nuclear officer of the Nuclear Energy Institute.
– A story on the Saleen S7 in the Transportation section Sunday stated incorrectly that the car has a single overhead cam engine. It should have said a single cam engine.
