C. Norman Nelson, 81, passed away March 19, 2002, beloved husband of the late Britt O., nee Olson; loving father of Susan (Thomas) Nelson, Linda Pierchala, Victoria (Gary) Erickson and Jonathan Brett Nelson; cherished grandfather of Jeffrey, Jennifer and Rebecca Pierchala and Kimberly and Timothy Erickson; dearest brother of Jay (Genevieve) Nelson, Violet Nielsen, Eleanor Broberg, Ruth Ericson, June (Lambert) Bere, Claire (Bud) Hamlin and the late Elmer (Lorraine) and Gideon (Amy) Nelson; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held Friday, March 22, 5 to 9 p.m. at Skokie Valley Baptist Church, 1050 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette, IL 60091. Memorial service will be Saturday, March 23, 11 a.m. at Skokie Valley Baptist Church. Interment private.
