Dean P. Wakeman, of Waukesha, WI, age 63, born to eternal rest on March 18, 2002 at his home, surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by his parents, Max Cecil and Lucille Marie, nee Boudreau, Wakeman. Beloved husband of Irene, nee Lave, for 23 years; dear father of Jennifer, Lindsay, Sarah and stepson, Jason Tuma; brother of Judie (Jim) Emerson and John (Nancy) Wakeman; son-in- law of Ed (Barb) Lave and Irene (Delbert) Beverage; brother-in-law of Bert Beverage, Tom (Carolyn) Lave and Christy Blankenstein; also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Dean served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves from 1959 to 1964. He was a Scheduling Analyst for International Truck & Engine for 39 years. He was an active member of Waukesha Bible Church, where one of his greatest passions was serving as a leader of Awana Clubs. He also served as an usher and greeter. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Friday at Waukesha Bible Church, S53 W24079 Glendale Rd., Waukesha, WI, with Services at 6 p.m. Committal Services with full Military Honors will be held Saturday, please meet at the church at 10 a.m. for the procession to Salem Cemetery, Wales, WI.
