A purple-faced robber armed with a silver-colored handgun stole about $10,000 Sunday evening after tying up the manager of Blockbuster Video, 30 S. Lincoln St., police said. The man, in his early 20s, also sported a yellow stripe painted down the center of his face and wore a yellow bandana, police said. The manager was forced to empty the store’s safe, police said.
