With its barn-red shutters and beige stone facade, this New England Traditional house on a thickly wooded corner lot has been an unofficial Glen Ellyn landmark since 1928. Located at 757 N. Park Blvd., it’s set amid a small forest of oak and walnut trees and wildflowers. Despite extensive renovation, the 10-room house retains many original features, including door hardware and light fixtures, leaded windows in the foyer, an extra-wide staircase to the second floor, wide-planked wood floors, and extra-wide floor and window moldings. Tall windows and windowed doors are throughout. BY THE NUMBERS: Five bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, two fireplaces, one-car garage. BROKER: Koenig & Strey (Diane Schwind).
