Blanche Vanscoy, nee Alton, age 92, of Oak Lawn, IL, died Thursday May 30, at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn. No services are scheduled. Memorial in Blencoe, IA, at a later date in June. Mrs. Vanscoy was born October 4, 1909, in Little Sioux, IA. She was the last of 10 children in the Alton family. She married Carmody Vanscoy June 15, 1930. He passed in May of 1996. Blanche is survived by her son Jim (Wilma); grandchildren James III and Kathy Ann (John) Horsley.
