Why should the public library pay any further money to help you raise your children as you see fit (“Library faces Internet protest; Marchers call for filters to weed out pornography,” Metro, May 27)?

Perhaps there should be two types of computers at the Chicago Public Libraries–a free one for adults, without a filter, and a fee computer for anyone who wants a computer with an Internet filter.

The government should not raise your children.

If you can’t afford to raise children the way you want them raised, perhaps you shouldn’t have children.
