John P. “Jack” Halpin, age 67, loving husband of Dolores, nee Hurley; dear father of Julie (Jim) Hoffman, Colleen (Bill) Veenhuis, Jack and Kathleen (Anthony) Guerrieri; special grandpa of Jennifer, Jill, Joey, Bob, John, Tom and Kailee; brother of Tom (Mary Jean) Halpin and the late Eileen Riley; brother-in-law of Bill Riley; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Jack retired as a Lieutenant from the Lincolnwood Police Dept. after 25 years. Funeral Saturday, June 15, 2002 9:30 a.m. from Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mt. Prospect, IL to St. Peter Catholic Church, 8140 Niles Center Rd., Skokie for 10:30 a.m. Mass. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
