When are we going to wake up and acknowledge that our dependence on Middle Eastern oil is shaping our foreign policy? I have to laugh when I see our government’s commercials implying that Americans buying illegal drugs is filling the terrorists’ pockets with money to use against us. What’s filling their pockets is our money buying their oil.
The commercials should rail against everyone who buys or drives a gas-guzzling vehicle and the corporations that make them.
