In “Is Bush in touch with reality?” (Voice of the people, Aug. 29), letter writer Vaughan A. Jones made a very clear case regarding the current president’s tendency toward bellicose posturing and saber rattling. I see two key factors explaining Bush’s attitude: He was never in a war and he has daughters.
