Joseph W. Entress, 87, of Lindenhurst, IL, Nov. 2, 2002, loving husband for 61 years of Rita, nee Costello; dear father of Sue (William) Morris of Lindenhurst and Timothy (Amy) Entress of Austin, TX; grandfather of four and greatgrandfather of five; dear brother of George (Eve) Entress of Oralnd Park; uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son, Joseph Entress; and parents, George and Hilma, nee Sandstrom, Entress. Graduate of DeLaSalle H.S. and the University of Wisconsin, Joseph was a sports enthusiast, private pilot, owned several race horses and was a volunteer at LaGrange Hospital. He was an air traffic controller during WWII and retired from Phillips Petroleum as a sales rep. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Wednesday at Prince of Peace Church, Rts. 83 and 132nd, Lake Villa, IL.
