Robert Sycora, 75, of Cashton and formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away at the Rolling Hills Care Center in Sparta, Friday, January 10, 2003. He was born October 14, 1927, in Chicago, IL, to Charles and Violet, nee Schwarz, Sycora. He spent most of his life in Chicago, moving to Cashton in 1996 where he resided in the Bethel Village until 2001. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Donna Sycora, of Cashton; and two nieces, Donna (Tim) Schaldach of Cashton and their four children and Susan Pettijohn of Novato, CA, and her two daughters. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James Sycora and infant brother, Raymond. Private family services will be held at a later date. The Torkelson Funeral Home, in Cashton, WI, will be assisting the family with arrangements.
