Chicago police have released a sketch of a man wanted for sexually assaulting a University of Illinois at Chicago student near the campus earlier this week.
The female student was returning to her home in the 1400 block of West Flournoy Street at around 7 p.m. Tuesday when a man grabbed her around the neck, robbed and sexually assaulted her and then fled, police said.
The suspect is described as being a 25- to 30-year-old dark-complexioned black man with extremely pink inner lips and a pear-shaped build. He weighs 250 to 275 pounds, is 6 feet 2 inches tall and was last seen wearing a dark blue zippered nylon coat with a hood, a dark knitted cap and either a dark blue sweat shirt or turtleneck.
Anyone with information about the assault is asked to call Harrison Area detectives at 312-746-8252 or Monroe District officers at 312-746-8396.
