Robert Henny, age 79, of Rockford, formerly of Chicago, passed away Jan. 20, 2003 after a long illness, beloved husband of the late Katharina, nee Tanzer; loving father of Helga (Stephen) Drinka; proud grandfather of Erik and Eva; dear brother of Olga Stockl of Germany; devoted brother-in-law of Yosef (Eva) Tanzer; fond uncle of Helen (Karl) Marksteiner. Robert was a very strong man who anticipated the needs of his family before they did. We are all very grateful for his strength and leadership. Memorial visitation Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Cremation Society of Illinois at Perry Chapel, 6825 Weaver Road, Rockford.
