Virginio Casas, 27, of the 100 block of East Streamwood Boulevard was charged Sunday with battery for allegedly cutting a family member on the arm with a piece of glass, police said. The relative was treated at a hospital, reports said. Casas was released after posting $100 bail pending a Feb. 11 court appearance, authorities said.
