Sixty years ago, watching a war on television was unimaginable.
Personally, I have found the TV coverage of the war with Iraq too much.
True, I have wanted to be informed. But all that information, sometimes repeated, I have found hard to handle.
While in the comfort of my home, I watched our young men and women in the armed forces fighting and perhaps dying for us and our country. It just didn’t seem fair.
