In this day and age, we often think and say how thoughtless people are.
I was guilty of that myself, but never again!
Four of us “oldsters” went to a recent Cubs game and, since I needed my walker to navigate the aisles and up the tier of rows to our seats, I was horrified and thought, “How?”
But I didn’t need to be worried.
Many hands (those of all ages) reached out to help me mount those steps.
May I salute the Cubs fans and people of Chicago.
I hope the natives of my adopted State of Texas are as considerate.
Thank you Chicago.
(And the Cubs won!)
