My boyfriend, Ryan, recently took me to dinner at our favorite restaurant, Zander’s Cafe in Downers Grove. Once we were seated, we noticed that a young couple with a child was waiting for a table close to ours.
This cute little boy with big blue eyes walked by our table a few times, with his parents following close behind.
Finally, he got away from them. He approached our table, with eyes focused on our basket of rolls. Like a homing missile, he walked right up to the rolls and bit down on one without using his hands. Roll in mouth, he looked up at us, seemingly waiting for our reaction.
We burst into laughter, and his mother came and took him away. We put the roll with teeth marks to the side.
With Ryan, everything is an adventure. I look forward to the next event he plans.
