Lawrence Joseph Nasella, 81, lifelong resident of the East Side, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2003, beloved husband of the late Arlene Nasella, nee Burch; and loving father to Sharon Marshall; adoring son to the late Joseph and Amelia Nasella; cherished brother to the late Anthony (Shirley) Nasella, James (Ruth) Nasella, Lucille (the late Frank) Murray, Jeanette (late Arthur) Palermo, late Bettina Nasella and the late Anna Nasella; cherished cousin; dearest uncle; and caring friend to many. WWII Veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division (Prisoner Of War). Four year letterman of Bowen High School, avid Bocce Ball player; a true sports enthusiast.
