Safety Louis Ayeni is set to return to the Wildcats’ lineup when they play host to No. 20 Wisconsin on Saturday at Ryan Field. The fifth-year senior, who has been plagued by injuries throughout his career, started and starred in his team’s season-opening victory over Kansas but has sat out since then with a nagging shoulder injury. “If you asked me, I felt I could have been playing five, six weeks ago,” Ayeni said. “They’re looking out for my best interest and I understand that. But I’ve been hurt before, and I didn’t feel like I was that hurt. But I’m not a doctor.” . . . Kicker Slade Larscheid, who has made just two of his six field-goal attempts, has not practiced this week and is questionable Saturday with a bruised hip. If Larscheid can’t go, redshirt freshman Joel Howells will step in.
