The Wolves traded goals in each period with the Manitoba Moose and finished Saturday night’s game tied 3-3 at the Winnipeg Arena.
The Wolves (7-2-2-1) got goals from Brian Maloney, Eric Healey and Bill Lindsay to forge leads of 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2. But an errant breakout pass in the neutral zone found its way to Manitoba defenseman Tomas Mojzis, who fed Chris Nielsen for a 3-3 tie at 4 minutes 17 seconds of the third period.
On Sunday the Wolves travel to Hamilton, Ontario, for their first-ever meeting with the Bulldogs at the Copps Coliseum.
