Leonard Bilenda, 79 and Virginia Bilenda, 82. Both born and raised in South Chicago, they settled in Las Vegas, Nevada to retire back in 1984. Leonard, known as Lee to everyone who knew him, passed away on October 16 in Las Vegas. He retired from U.S. Steel in 1980 after some 32 years of service. His loving wife Virginia passed away on November 26 here in Chicago. Lee and Ginny, as she was known, were married for 56 wonderful years and as they shared most of their lives together, they are once again reunited for eternity. They will both be dearly missed! Survivors include sons Greg (Arlene), James, Lee (Holly) and Robert (Teresa) and daughter Janice (Dennis) Pastirik as well as 14 grandchildren. Private family services were held.
