Ferne F. O’Connor, nee Fiscella. Loving wife of Walter M.; cherished mother of James (Catherine), Kathleen Buesch, Stephen (Marcia) and Janice (William) Murray; loving grandmother of Casey and James O’Connor; beloved sister of Josephine King, Richard Fiscella, Rita Shine, Patricia Paulls and the late Bernard Fiscella; dear daughter of the late Samuel and Felicia Fiscella; loving aunt and great-aunt of many. Ferne was a retired Chicago Public School Teacher for over 25 years of faithful service and she shared her gift of music with family, students and fellow residents and brought joy to all who heard her play and sing.
