Torry Holt of Rams can become only the ninth player to lead NFL in catches, yards, receiving TDs
(1) Sterling Sharpe
The Packers wide receiver was the last player to do it, in 1992, when he had 108 catches for 1,461 yards and 13 touchdowns.
(2) Jerry Rice
You didn’t think he didn’t do it, did you? He did in 1990 as a member of the San Francisco 49ers. That year he had 100 catches, 1,502 yards and 13 TDs.
(3) Dave Parks
The 49ers receiver did it in 1965 when he had 80 receptions, 1,344 yards and 12 TDs.
(4) Johnny Morris
The Bears’ all-time leader in receiving yards accomplished the feat in 1964 with 93 receptions for 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns.
(5) Raymond Berry
The favorite target of Johnny Unitas did it for the Colts in 1959 with 66 receptions, 959 yards and 14 TDs.
(6) The other three
– Don Hutson of the Packers did it five times from 1936-44.
– Elroy Hirsch of the Los Angeles Rams did it in 1951 (66 catches, 1,495 yards, 17 TDs.)
– Pete Pihos of the Eagles did it in 1953 (63 catches, 1,049 yards, 10 TDs.)
