Ready to walk down the aisle in style? Not to mention for free?
The W Chicago-City Center, 172 W. Adams St., wants to give five couples a wedding to remember. The hotel is looking for five candidates (men or women) to propose in public Feb. 13 at its Valentine’s Eve E-Lope event.
Sweeties who say yes will get a makeover on the spot (including wedding apparel) and then tie the knot in front of a crowd (including a wedding party). Same-sex couples can apply to have a commitment ceremony.
But you have to qualify first. To be considered, all potential candidates must have an interview, select a wedding party and fill out a marriage license, among other things. Interviews will be Jan. 19 and 22. To set up an interview, e-mail calle.combes@whotels.com.
The lucky newlyweds also will get a reception and wedding cake, champagne and photographs, a suite for the night, and a honeymoon at a W hotel in New York, San Francisco, San Diego or Los Angeles.
