John L. Harthon, age 82, passed away on January 4, 2004 in Appleton, Wisconsin. He was born May 26, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois. John proudly served his country in the Army Air Force during WWII and the Korean War and is survived by his wife, Violet, nee Chennell, of Appleton, Wisconsin; his three daughters: Diane (Andy) Puplis of Ft. Myers Beach, Florida; Terri (Paul) Barry and Lori Harthon both of Appleton, Wisconsin; five grandchildren: Mark (Dawn) Barry, John (Connie) Barry, Mike (Courtney) Barry, Leslie (Tony) Sealy, and Sara Olson; and four great-grandchildren: Nathan, Trevor, Ryan, and Tyler. There will be a private family service in his memory.
