Vacys Saltis, born in Lithuania in 1903, passed away of Alzheimer’s disease complications. He passed peacefully in his home with his family. He is survived by his wife Lore; son Walter; daughter Renate Dainis; and sister Zina; granddaughters Monika and Heidi Holtz; grandsons Anthony and Daniel Dainis. Visitation at Damar Funeral Home, 7861 S. 88th Avenue (2 miles W. of 79th & Harlem), Justice, IL 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, January 9. Interment Lithuanian National Cemetery. 708-496-0200
