Sponzilli, age 83, died Jan. 5, 2004, dear father of Paul Sponzilli, Sheila Bergstrom and Christine Ulijasz; brother of Jean Mazza and Albert Sponzilli; dear grandfather of Andrew, Pamela and Gwendolyn Ulijasz, Brian Bergstrom and Lynette and Katie Sponzilli; also survived by former wife and lifelong friend, Nell Sponzilli (Jackie Horner). Inurnment Services at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2004 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004 at Fox Valley Presbyterian Church, 227 East Side Drive, Geneva, IL 60134. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Illinois Veterans Home in Manteno.
