Robert “Doc” Richards, of Park Forest, formerly of Oelwein, Iowa, died Jan. 13 of lymphoma. He is survived by his wife, Selwa, nee Roydon; their two sons, Dean (Heloisa) of New Jersey and Roydon (Vera) of Merrillville; and grandchildren, Jessica, Vanessa and Nicolas. Before retiring, he was a teacher and footballtrack coach for 35 years (30 years at T.F. North High School). Bob was a WWII Veteran. He was well-loved and touched many lives.
