In “Turkish city defends identifying prostitute to fight HIV spread” (News, Jan. 14), we read that the government of Turkey humiliated a Ukrainian woman that they accuse of being an HIV-infected prostitute. They did this by giving her name and showing her face on television.

What is the Tribune’s excuse for also humiliating that unfortunate woman by publishing her name and photograph?
