Barbara A. Meyer, age 57, died on Friday, Jan. 16, 2004 at her home on Lake Wisconsin, with her husband and daughter at her side, following a long battle with ovarian cancer. She is sorely missed by her husband, James, whom she married on Feb. 8, 1969; and their two children, Tracy of Madison and Matthew of Longview, TX. Barbara is also survived by a brother, Dale (Julie) Staus; nephew, Jacob of Sussex; her mother-in-law, Marie Meyer of Madison; a sister-in-law, Marsha Meyer; and two nieces, Jamie and Stephanie of Chicago. A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004 at Concordia United Methodist Church, Prairie du Sac, with Pastor Jeff Virchow presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. that day. A social hour will follow in the church fellowship hall. Everyone is invited.
