Sol Cole, age 89, of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Chicago and Niles, died Sunday, January 25, 2004 in Boca Raton, FL. Sol began a whole new career when he retired to Florida after a 20 year career in the insurance business in Chicago. He starred in numerous productions of Century Village Repertory Theatre, worked as a model and movie stand-in, appeared in two television commercials and was on a weekly radio show of topical commentary. He leaves behind loving children, Joyce, of Chicago, IL; Janis of Boston, MA and Ronald (Hinda) Cole of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Brian (Kristin) of Portland, OR and Jason (Tara) Cole of Rogers, AR and great-grandchildren, Guy Martin and Reid, Reece and Emma Cole. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Faye, in 2002 and a son Howard in 1996. Funeral services are Tuesday (today) at Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel, Boca Raton. 800-947-4256.
